Welcome to the cyber-home of writer, photographer, and precision driver Johnny Killmore. I translate the complexity of machines and the chaos of high-speed life into stories that matter. While most of my work is in motorsport and adventure travel, I enjoy work on all creative projects, so long as there is a story to tell.

I’ve gone from setting records (fastest sidecar to summit the Pikes Peak Hill Climb) to expanding horizons through adventure travel and exploration. I go fast but I also go far, and find the deepest levels of understanding so I can bring them to the surface. I do this through writing, photography, and on camera work, but I’m always ready to see life from the cockpit of a fast moving vehicle, on the edge of control.

Whether I am rebuilding a turbine engine, working on either side of the camera, or wheelie-ing a moped through a wall of flaming sharks, I am looking for the edge: everywhere else is just one of life’s parking spaces (if you have a budget for that last one, definitely call me).

Check out the writing samples over in my portfolio. There’s also a photography portfolio saved here. And be sure sign up for my weekly digest, so you can keep up with my happenings, wanderings, and occasional flashes of brilliance.
